The key is to hold on, endure, and surpass themselves. Suddenly, the seams begin to burst. Everything seems to literally fall apart. Will they triumph ?

With Showtime, the Still Life company embarks on a cycle of short-form works. This piece stages bodies gasping for breath, where the disintegration of appearances takes place. Struggle and despair. Showtime reveals the monstrosity at work in our daily lives, causing disorder and chaos. Who is the monster ? Faithful to their tragic-comic, biting, and offbeat universe, Sophie Linsmaux and Aurelio Mergola start with a seemingly ordinary situation but quickly leave realism behind to embrace fantasy.
